Just tried to swap the power tubes in my MOD 50 for the first time. When I went to bias, there was nothing inside the bias adjustment port to turn. Not sure if the receptacle is faulty or if it was never actually installed. Looked at it with a flashlight and I can see the wiring in the chassis and that's it. Help!!!

Very strange?? The amp can't work without the trim pot in there. Is this new? When did you get it? Please email me at bruce@egnater.com to figure this out!?!?!

It sounds like you may have pushed too hard and bent back the bias pot inside the amp. It may need to be bent back. Just be careful with the inside of the amp. You don't want to get zapped.

Yup, that was it. Took the chassis out and it was bent back. Easy fix. Although, I'm not sure how this happened. I never actually put a screw driver in the bias port. Oh well, it should be working fine now. Thanks for the help!

HA-- I'll plug the M4 here and say rack covers are GREAT if you have kids.

Glad your bias was an easy fix.
