Apologies if this has been asked before, I promise I dutifully waded through several pages of search results before posting....

Is it possible to switch my Mod50's parallel loop on and off, through MIDI CC or some other means? If so, can the series and parallel loops be switched independently of each other? My setup is that I'm using the series loop for time-based effects, and I'd like to use the jumper/volume boost trick with the parallel loop. So ideally I'd leave the series loop on while switching the parallel loop on and off for volume boost. Possible? Thanks!

Bump...anyone? Bueller? This afternoon I hooked up a MIDI controller and sent a bunch of random CC numbers to the Mod50...it responds to CC numbers to turn the 4 channels on and off, but no luck switching the effects loops so far.

Hey,

If you did want to achieve this you still can by running the loop into an external switcher (I use a voodoo labs GCX, but RJM make similar kinds of things) and using this to switch things in or out of the loop.

It's pretty easy to setup and the GCX gives you 8 loops so you can switch both the effect loops plus add stuff in or out of the front of the amp at the same time.

I use mine to control all of my effects (wah at the front of the amp, Rocktron Guitar silencer in the serial loop and GSP1101 in the parallel loop) works like a dream ;-)
