Any chance there are plans to take the power section out of the Mod50 and make a stand alone power amp? Fifty watts, half power switch, density and presence control, takes all the tubes that the Mod50 takes in a two space rack? That would be the perfect compliment to the M4. Any chance?

I know where you are coming form Jarret. Before I got the MOD 50 I was running my M4 into a Randall RM50HB as my power amp. It's really all you need, but a rack mount version would be a cool thing I must admit.

Sign me UP! I've been wondering the same thing and was going to ask about it when I received the call that the M4 was ready to ship!

A STAND ALONE POWERAMP FROM THE MOD 50 DESIGN WOULD BE A GREAT
ADDITION TO THE EGNATER LINE, IF YOU USED IT WITH THE M4, THE OLDER IE4
PREAMP OR ANY PREAMP THAT NEEDED A POWERAMP WITH 'DA TONE......

Lack of a good quality, semi-lightweight 50-60 watt power amp is the only thing that stopped me from going the M4 route and buying more modules. I love my Mod50, but I would dump it in a heartbeat for a M4/rack tuner/rack fx/2 space 50 watt power amp in a 6 space rack. I can't imagine how good that setup would sound. Not to mention with one of those roller racks, it would be a snap to transport.

He needs an RT1/50,I love the 2/50 but I find myself only using one channel all the time,I would still keep my MOD50 though :D

If it were a single channel 50 then you could have the high & low power switch via midi.

We have a power amp in development...just you all wait!

Hey Jeff i might as well sign my next paychecks straight over to you :D by the way the wife said you guys are O.K.,so that makes it easier to get those checks over to you

Just who I wanted to talk to...guess what showed up today...  Yup your MHG...so all is good we will just use it as a player module in the shop and you got the smoking module. Between you and Kevin, I was starting to get nervous.
