So stupid. I will never understand the silicone, epoxy, spray foam bullshit modder’s use to hide stuff. I know Martin politely paintpened out all the values and colors before he installed them. Very neat and professional. Silicone isn’t even good for boobs…
I understand why they do it.... the pen paint can be removed, the goop is harder to remove. Fortin uses some shit that is really difficult to remove. Everyone hides their mods. (y)

Understand it to a degree, but you’re screwing the customer at the end of the day. If something fails in the goop, it will be a nightmare to repair. Just my perspective on it. To each their own.

Here it is.....ugh

I hate mesas so if it sounded like a Mesa and not a gained up Marshall I wouldn’t own it. Also Nick built this one as a copy and his stuff is great.

There’s no clipping diodes in these amps. Just raw aggression. I can’t wait to record the two of them for y’all
Viva la Nick!!

I liked the second setting “fuller sound” as you described it best.

I was using a Cameron cab loaded with Celestion G12H30 anniversary's.

you use JB's? i have a cameron 2x12 with scumback 65s that is 16ohm but i havent used it with my mig cause it only has 4/8 outs. i have a 12h30, might just grab another one and put them in the 2x12. that is like the grail tone to me

I use Suhr pickups. My white nitro has an Aldrich and my blue nitro has an SSH+. Keep in mind, my Aldrich is an older version and sounds different from the new ones. I just measured DC resistance on the Aldrich and it 17.48. The SSH+ is 16.41. I have both pickups set pretty low as well, like close to 3/8 of an inch.

I really like the Anni H30's. They need to be broken in a lot, but once broken in, they have that punch and pop I like out of speakers. The Cameron cabs help as well. They have straight front baffles (marshall, Bogner, etc tend to have the front baffle at a slight slant upwards). I dont give a shit that they say Cameron, I just really like how they sound. Plue the machine screws holding the backs on make for a quality sealed cabinet. Vboutique makes a great cabinet.

The newer H30 Annis are made in England; they sound like broken in versions right out of the box. None of that super screechy high end of the previous mic versions when new.
