Modding Tourmaster Line Out

Been some discussion in one of the other threads about how noisy the Tourmaster line out is.

I'm wondering: Would it be possible to mod it to quiet it down? I find mine so noisy I don't use it.

Any thoughts?

Maybe Bruce or Ian could chime in?

but that would be helpful. i would like to use it as a tuner out, but, as is, it's pretty much unusable even as that.

I am assuming maybe a different transformer, or shielding, or something. I don't know.

Hey guys, while it may be true that not all of us are as active as Yeti and Len I would like to note that I am a frequent lurker and, being a TM4212 owner, I try to follow these postings regularly.

Len, still wondering about when you will come out with the "Len's Lonely Tourmaster Club Band" T-Shirts. Put me down for one, but not black- OK?

I also would be interested in varying opinions on the line out noise - is this a common issue?

The line out noise comes up fairly regularly in Tourmaster discussions. I find it so bad I can't use it. Have you had any issue with it? I am thinking maybe some better shielding? Be nice if Ian or Bruce chimed in...
