Hello all first let me say happy holidays to everyone here.
Today I decided to mod my rebel 30 head footswitch so that the cable would be detachable. I attached one G&L stereo jacks to each end of the cable and they both look the same as far as red to tip, white to ring and ground to ground. For the footswitch I went in and connected it to a female stereo connecter. Now my problem is that the channel selector switch works fine but the reverb switch doesn't work and when I am on channel 1 the reverb switch becomes a channel select switch. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
pictured on the innards my the first lug of my channel switch goes the led then to the tip connected, the second lug jumps over to the second lug of my reverb and then to the ground connector, the first lug of my reverb jumps to the led then from the led to the ring lug. I have attached a picture to see if anyone could help. Thanks for your time.
