So what settings you digging these days on your modules? I'm also curious how you are getting your AC/DC tones...(think Back in Black). Post 'em up!!!

Hi !
For some time now I like having my EG3/4 dial with no treble, a few bass and an almost full cranked mid, with just the right amont of gain from the channel B. With my Vigier Excalibur I get a smooth jazz fusion tone. really sweet !

For some good ol' rock tone, I used the channel B of the Bman, which is really good for that I think. The way I set it: roll back the treble, mid around two o'clock, bass at one o'clock, bright and bass boost switches on the first setting.
One setting I like also is the "Robert Fripp setting" (from the first Crimson album) : full bass, full mid and no treble. Works good with the Bman and SL2.

Looking forward to hear from the other mod users

It depends on the guitar, but I tend to just start with most things put at noon, and adjusting gain and volume to taste. after that I just tweak to the guitar. I have plans to really zone in and tweak more, but it sounds so good in almost any position so I end up not tweaking! That's actually what I love most about the mod series, it sounds good in almost any position, honestly. Tend to have my bass boost on 1 - but again it depends on volume level I'm playing at too.

When i get home I can post settings, but for AC/DC the SL or BMAN works really well. Can even do SL2 channel A with gain down a bit.

Also, the VX module is absolutely fantastic (not ac/dc), highly recommended to anyone! And the cleans on the dlx are terrific as well.

WOW, you really don't like treble! Curious as to what power section you're using. Those settings would not work at all with my MOD50 but an M4 with some other power amp might be great.

I also tend to start around noonish for the eq and tweak to taste. Density is set quite low zero to 9:00 typically... maybe more at bedroom volume. Presence about 12:00. I adjust the density and presence to the room.

BMan - bass: 12:00 mid: 2:00 treble: 11:00 (I use this for the neck position pickup)

EG3/4 - bass: 5:00 mid: 12:00 treble: 11:00 (I use this for a bridge position pickup)

Presence usually off. Density: 9:00

Master volume: 12:00 - 2:00 -- driving two 1x12 cabs.

I've got an xMan that Nick modded for aeroic back in the day. Channel B on that thing is great for AC/DC tones. Bass at noon, mids and treble around 2, gain between 11-1, and it's classic rock goodness all day long.

I always start with everything at noon; then I usually end up with the MID and TREBLE somewhere between 1:00 and 2:00. On the clean modules I tend to turn the BASS up to 1:00. On the C.O.D. the MID is dimed . . .

BMAN, VX, EG5, and COD.

As a matter of fact, no I don't like treble very much :) When there's treble I often find the sound too harsh.
I have a 1x12 combo with EL34 and a Celestion G12-65. These settings work for my taste and with my guitar, which is already toward the bright side.
