Module help

Hey Guys,

I'm pretty happy with my eg5.. but i'd like something a little more percussive.

is there any way:

1 - someone could recommend a tighter module
2 - someone (bruce/jeff) could point out a couple mods to tighten up the eg5?

What other modules do you have? If you are looking for something similar gain-wise, but that will move more air, I would suggest the SL2 - not as much gain, but less compressed.

hey rick, i have no other modules.. I just bought a new house and had a baby, so i'm lucky to have any modules

i dig the EG5 for jammin at home, but just wish I could get it a little tighter low end, and less mids.

if you want the kind of gain an eg5 has, but "tighter", the only choice would be a Randall Ultra XL, or you could modify your eg5. Maybe an ultra small cap in the c3 in that bassboost network somewhere.

Going to second the Randall UltraXL....or get a custom UXL made..

..actually an SL2 with a boost (bass robbing tube screamer type) will do it too..but he said less mids not more I think :-/

after a bit of tweaking i have to say I was wrong.. less gain, more volume is all i needed
