Has anyone tested different speaker cabinets w/ various modules? I'm curious to hear results. I know V30/CL80 are preferred (..and recommended by Jeff, etc) but there has to be some exceptions.

Who has a combination that they think is most fendery, marshally, and so forth.

Interested in the type of cab as well. Open, closed, 3/4, too. Seems like something that isn't discussed here too often.

I'd love to purchase Egnater's OS1x12 but I'm hesitant because of of US-Canada shipping. I got hit with stupid fees when I bought the MOD50!

I run my EG3, EG3/4, Sl $ B'man through a large Marshall 1966 style diagonal Mojo 2X12 cab. One old Celestion G1265 and a Eminence GB1216 which is a high wattage Green back copy. Two 16 ohm speakers in an 8 ohm load. Sounds wonderful, plenty of great Marshal and Fender coolness.

I run my MOD100 with two Bogner Cabs loaded with Ted Weber Ceramic "Stan Spec" 1225 speakers with Pre-Rola Doping.......they flat out kick ass with the Egnater....

The V30's that used to be in my cabs are now for sale......

Thanks for the offer but at this time I still can't pull the trigger!!

has anyone tried combinations like:

vox module + celestion blues?
deluxe + jensens

and so forth? hold up to the real thing? ...or should i forget my traditional ways?

I have the TD and SL2 modules. My Mod 50 sits on top of a semi open Stone Age 2x12C with Celestion Heritage G12-65's and my clean and overdrive tones are to die for!
