This one is the Cameron #1 Aldrich mod. Straight in, no FX. Through a Bogner with V30's/T75's. Playing an Anderson Drop Top Pro AM in E.

This one is an Aldrich Lead mod from Martin Golub at LASD. Its a little different, as it doesn't have all the EQ control that Mark's has, but retains a little more Marshall tonez. All the good stuff comes out when you get the master up around 4. Again, straight in, no FX.

I guess the everything sounds like shit day is gone. These sound awesome Steve. Great tone and playing. Thanks for sharing them. :m4: :rawk:

Thanks for the clips Steve. I'll take the Cameron to go please.

The Cameron destroys the Golub.

Really? The Cameron sounds like it has more of an upper mids presence thing going on while the Golub seems to have more of lower mids thing going on, at least to my ears?

Seems like its just a preference type of thing, Chevy or Ford? Maybe its just the way it was recorded?

There is really no comparison with the two amps. The Golub retains more Marshall with some extra bite and depth. But, the Cameron is all over the place tonally. That said, you don't get a new Cameron and you can still get a Golub done. Martin's amps use a nice tube driven parallel loop too and makes for a nice W/D combination. You just got to take them for what they are. But yes, the Cameron wipes the floor with the Golub. Depends on what people are after.

:D Thats the thing though right! Despite all the shit that gets tossed around here, who could argue with those clips lol. One sounds insanely clear dynamic and open despite putting out rediculous gain and the other simply doesnt. Im not dissing the Golub at all, its probably great amp but the Cameron complimented your playing waaaay more Steve.
