"I jus...This is like an old Les Paul... *chomp *chomp... where the bridge is right... on the body... *lag *chomp... and I can't get anybody to do that! I can't get... even Gibson to do that! Dis is like da old one... Les Pauls!"

Very annoying :bash:

He sounds fried, to much alcohol back in the day, Joe Walsh and Ozzy can barley speak a sentence

I've seen so much worse than this that I don't get this. Shit, even Joe Walsh has done way more annoying interviews than this in the past.  ...and I am a huge JW fan.

You obviously never listened to Howard Stern. He was a regular on that show and did countless interviews on there...usually wasted. He even left for 11 yrs because he had to clean up in order for the Eagles to take him back. He was a complete mess. There a tons of interviews out there...because he was in a complete alcoholic haze the majority of the time.

He even told a story about how he was at a dinner at a friend's house once and excused himself to I think to go to the bathroom and disappeared for hours. Turns out he found their wine cellar and drank all of their wine and pissed them off. He couldn't pay for it, so he gave them a guitar.  Howard loved having him because he was full of stories like this. He had what Howard called an "open door policy" meaning that he could stop in whenever he felt like it...because he was so interesting. He was always stuttering and burnt out and completely messed up...but the stories was crazy.

Dude, I'm not talking about his skills on the geetar. I like his playing very much. I'm talking about how painfully fucking annoying this interview is! It's awful!

That may be the most lucid JW interview that I've ever seen...he actually made sense for most of it.

He made sense but that god damn smacking on his gum and constant zoning out was so annoying that I wanted to punch his face!!

I was alright with it, guess I've spent enough time with people like this and in a worse state than him to really bother getting annoyed with it.

Wasn't keen on his messed up grovelled chewing dialogue, but hey, I remember an interview with Mick Jagger nonchalantly butting a cigarette out on Keef's head as Keef went nodding off mid stream. Good times, good times....

Yeah....most of them are on youtube. I actually listened to one today as a result of this thread. A three parter when he came back to the show after 11 yrs...all sober. It was a great interview listening to remember the old times. They spoke about Desperado and how much trouble he got into for singing it...especially for changing the words, which was the result of him being too drunk to remember the actual ones.  There is a video of him and Sam Kinison doing Desperado on the Stern Show. It might have been the Channel 9 show, but I can't remember...but he was wasted, and Kinnison is playing some annoying guitar (Walsh is singing and on keyboards.) It is classic.

Yeah, as we are saying....this was lucid...FOR Joe Walsh...not for a normal person. You really should have heard the past interviews. Imagine this times a million.

Joe is a musical Genius, he can do what he wants, he was making gold records while most of us were in kindergarten, and i hear his Mazerati does 185.
