Which one of the Friedman amps can handle metal well? I just want to know, erm... For science :D

Which one can handle low tunings well and it's not "grainy"? Grainy amp (for me) = Mesa Dual Recto without TS.

Any info welcomed :)

I would say "Naked" which is discontinued but can be found still I think ...

Friedman APC mod, I think there's one in the classifieds.
Or Naked, essentially the same thing.

It was built to excell at low tunings.

if you use a boost on the BE-100 you'll do metal, not death metal or that genre but you could easily pull off Judas Priest, Megadeth, Saxon, Prong, Carcass older stuff - preamp tubes could also be swapped out for desired flavor

With the HBE mode on the BE, you might not even need a boost for old school metal. Same goes for the SS100. With the gain boost engaged and the EQ tweaked a little, it will do those metal tones just fine.

A carefully dialed Furman PQ3 can make almost any amp get a Metal tone.

If you get a Empress ParaEQ you can get those Metal type of sounds using a friedman BE-100 amp..
