Motor City pickups and Egnater?????

Hey guys!

I was all about Rio Grande pickups because I love thick tone. These have been my go to pickups because they are so thick, rich and powerful.

Anyway, I wanted to try something new so I bought the Torque from MCP. It is so clear and responsive. Clarity is amazing. Now, I have two LPs and was thikning of getting another MCP. Do you guys suggest the Egnater PAF or the Afwayus? I play everything from classic rock to modern hard rock and metal. I seem to lean toward medium to higher output pickups for versatility but sometimes the lower output pickups have a 3D quality to them.

Jeff, which two...the Egnater PAF and Torque? Have you tried the Afwayu? How does the PAF compare to something like a Gibson BB Pro/ Can it do heavy? The BB Pro can sound sloppy. I was thiking of doing the Afwayu in my PRS CE-22 if not the LP.
 
Yes the Egnater PAF and the Torque. The torque replaced my BBQ.
 
Torque is my fav pickup now!!! I have it after Afwayu Reeves Wind in my MIJ custom Moon RM Deluxe, tele with mahogany body... this's the best tone out of 3rd channel of Egnater MICA TOL 100. But Reeves Wind is very, very good too... much better that Rio BBQ, Bartolini 77D, old JB etc.
