Motor City Pickups Detroiters in an Ibanez AS73?

I have a set of Motor City Pickups Detroiters that are for sale in the classifieds. No one really seems to want to buy them. The only guitar that I have that they might seem to fit is an Ibanez AS73 335 style Semi Hollow. Would the Detroiters be a good match for that guitar? If they would, I would also upgrade all the wiring.

So, should I do it? Only thing being, that I don't want to put $300 worth of upgrades into a guitar that I have $250 into.

if u didnt like them in the first guitar u tried them in, then u probably wont dig them in this guitar either. If u do like the mcp's , then stick them in the ibanez as long as its a guitar u will keep the guitar because u definatly wont get your investment back if u sell it with the mcp's installed.

I really dig the Detroiter in my Les Paul. If that set was 50mm I'd be all over it for another Les Paul. Great pickup IMO.

as opposed to 53mm legs? 3mm makes the difference? wow! :)
I think he was talking pole spacing but your comment still rings true...it won't make a bit of difference in the sound in my experience.
