Do any of you guys know which new pickup Wade is making that is closest to the Torque? He wound me a Torque at about 14k(a bit cooler than normal) and it is great. It does have an edge though.

Is the Blister Bucker based on the Torque? I know one of them is.

I don't think any of the the ones I have sound like the torque. You need an Afwayu Rich.

I remember Wade saying he was making a cooler version of the Torque for the Egnater guys and I thought it was the Blisterbucker. Isn't that around 14k?

What is special about the Afwayus? I was afraid it was too hot and possibly too compressed sounding? Sometimes I find the lower output pickups sound bigger. Is this different? :)
Pretty versatile, huh?

When I contacted Wade about pups for my dual humbucker Strat, he recommended the Afwayus for all around good tone and they also split well.

Mine are on order... How long does he usualy take?

He is usually 2 weeks but the last set was a week as he has streamlined things a bit.
