Multi-Tracking a Stereo Rig

I run a stereo rig live, and I'm going to record that band soon. Normally, I use an FX8 to 4CM into two full stacks with a Mimiq tucked in there for some stereo magic live. For recording, I will double track my parts to get the widening instead of using the Mimiq, but how should I do it?

Do I just record amp A, and then do amp B and pan them? Do I record both rigs at once and put both on each side? Do I quad track, with amp A twice on one side and amp B on the the other, or AB AB? What do you think?

Double Track
(A) - (B)
(AB) - (AB)
Quad Track
(A) (A) - (B) (B)
(A) (B) - (A) (B)

yes lol. i would just record two tracks with each rig and then pan to taste, ive not found one solid way of panning that works for every song, theres just too many other factors. sometimes two tracks sits just right, other times two panned 100% and another two at 75% a bunch of db's lower is it.

Single track, tweed champ. Amp on one side, drums and guitar echo on the other, bass up the middle.

I'm between running mono tracks or stereo tracks each side. Do I just record each amp as a take, or the whole rig as a take per side?
