Multiple channels simultaneously?

So I hooked up a voodoo lab control switcher and a commander to switch channels on my vh4s and dr. Z 6545 at the same time. The commander a presets seem to activate multiple channels on the vh4s simultaneously. That is the lights for channels 1 and 2 are both lit. The resulting sound is quite glorious and there are different combinations on each commander bank. The problem is I would like to recreate this and assign the combinations where I like. Anyone know how to activate more than one channel at a time?

I'm pretty sure that there is no intended way to activate multiple channels at once. If this should happen it is some switching error.

Also all the channels share most of their gain-stages, so you won't actually have multiple channels running at once, but rather have (I am just assuming here) two EQs parallel and (in case of ch1&2) a single gain-stage which would feed a boosted phase inverted signal to your sound.

Welcome to the board GOHIONC,

the switching matrix can only do one channel.
Multiple channels would cause phase issues.

So it is a bad thing when this happens, rather should i program my midi banks so this doesnt happen?
