Dear all,

Here is my Einstein setup with tubelit roadie. I have however changed the box with foot switches to a
larger box such that I can easily change between all 4 modes/channels. Not a real 4 channel amp (I do
not want to restart the discussion we had on this at this forum), but certainly more than a 2 channel amp,
so let call it a 2.5 channel amp.

The guitar is a (old) custom PRS, but I recently changed the the pickups to a Haeussel vintage set... best move
since I bought the Einstein. With the gain of channel 1 at 1:30 I have a perfect ballance between all 4 channels
for most of the songs I play ...

Thanks for reading, :)

comments are welcome.

Let me conclude by thanking Peter Diezel for building such a nice amp, and for helping me out the other day (also thanks to Olaf who was the first to react to my cry for help).
Thanks for ACY in helping me to select the right Haeussel pickup set.

Jan

I also have a kind of old PRS, a 1987 with vintage pickups. I'm thinking also of a replacement with Haeussels. How would you describe the change in tone?

-> between significant improvement and out-of-this-world improvement, especially for the neck pickup: never
used the standard PRS neck pickup since it was too muddy ... this is not at all the case for the Haeussel
pickup : open clear sound ... and in addition much better and sollid construction, thickner wires ... etc ...
