We placed top 3 at the Battle at Busch show early this summer. We went back to win. Unfortunately due to politics we didn't. The winning band should have been disqualified for not following the rules

Here's our new single.

Hey fellow STL area guy. So what went down, if you care to share?
We were on a super tight time schedule. The first band went over by 30 seconds or more so they could finish their new single. After being told by the organizer what time they had left, they kept ignoring him. He told the soundman to cut the mains and monitors. Hec was NOT happy.

Hell, one of the judges was seated behind me and stared at her phone for most of her set.

They were local and sold the most tickets so I'm sure that came into play.

I did all the big Battle of the Bands back in the day. It's ALWAYS political. We "lost" Pop's battle of the bands, but ended up winning because we got a killer slot at Pointfest on sidestage.

Am I deaf or is it phone speakers but guitar volume needs to be turned up 🤔

We played Pops early last year. It was a 5 band show. We didn't sell hardly any tickets. Got the last slot. Several hundred people showed up but by the time we played, we practically played for the staff.

Good thing was the soundman said that we were honestly the best sounding band of the night. Guitars were crisp and clear

We've had a few decent opening gigs but nothing consistent. We had a show tonight but the venue owner is being treated at Barnes. Bad stuff

ATG from Discrepancies did some guest rapping on our new single

Never did any battle of the bands, but I always had 3 piece cover bands. My last one did open a few cool shows at Fubar. One for Rhino Bucket. It was us and Fallujah. It was a cool show.

Has a Stranglehold vibe to my ears.

I wish you good fortune in the wars to come.
