Some of you guys might not have been born yet!!
I was transferring her videos to DVD and stuck a few tunes up.

Steinberger into a Mesa MK-II

I was born--and had already been around the block a few times. :D

She played great--is she still playing well? She could give YOU a run for your money in her heyday.

That tune sounds a little like Dream Theater. I enjoyed that Carl, thanks for sharing.

What software are you using to get VHS to DVD?

Mike

nice piano solo from the nerd in fast times at ridgemont high

and the bass player is part geddy lee, part elliot easton, part joe walsh

the lady definitely has technique- i think that teenage girl that plays randy rhoads note for note is the best rock player i've seen though...jenny batten was also a technician but sorta low on soul.

Nice......she was sexy then.....and I bet she's sexy now... ;)
Plus she can play.....and thats sexy...

If I cut the headstock off of my strat and hang a scarf from my wrist will I be able to play like that? Just kidding. Great playing and very pretty. We all age no doubt. I just hit 57 but still try to rock.

Mike, I just go from a VCR to my CD Recorder.

She still plays. Still has that Steinberger and Mesa amp as well as a bunch of other guitars she used back then. She was getting tons of endorsements in the 90's, doing the NAMM shows and even the Musicmesse thing in Germany. Her 2 Vigiers were given to her.
She has one of the original BC Rich guitars too.

She would kick my ass back then. She reads music and was well studied.
Hard to tell by looking at her, but she was into jazz and playing pop/rock tunes. She played in wedding bands, funk bands, etc. She wrote the tunes as well.

She was doing the club circuit back then, was on the cover of Good Times, etc.
The other vid I transferred of hers was from North Stage Theater in Glen Cove.

Her dad was an opera singer, her daughter is a very talented DJ or something.

Here's another-

With all the circulating I was doing back then I am surprised I never saw her out there. Good Times mag still around? My old buddy and schoolmate Ralph Tutora still at WBAB? He was on a reality TV show I saw down here recently. Forget the name of it. Was a show about securing his home (beautiful) against theives. You see it?

I frequented the same music store as she did since the early 70's and never ran into her. We have mutual friends from back then as well.
Not sure about Good Times or Ralph.

On her North Stage Theater tape though, Bob Buchman introduces her band!

Cool, and very cool.
