No Bass Boost on mine. And yea my Metal sounds great at low volume like a normal tube amp... the louder the better.

Don't take this the wrong way: is it just me or do you sound the same through any amp you're playing thru?? You could be playing thru one of those amps that's made out of a pack of smokes and you would sound the same...KILLER

I have heard that before, and the cab does that too. I gotta find one of them smoke packs amps, yea.

True.... I really like the simplicity of the whole thing as is though. It is what it is, you know?

I don't have a room mic either and would have to buy one. Using a mic would require a board (which I don't have), another mic-(guess I said that already... a Royer would be tits) and another camera. Maybe some software etc.
Heck, right now I grab the camera turn it on and go. Hook the USB cable up and dump to YouTube. It's so easy....
If I mic up I may as well record another cd..... make a few bucks at it too!

Im going to have to agree with this. I would call most of the clips moderate gain and almost every clip sounds the same or similar because of the way its dialed in IMHO lol
A lot of it does have to do with the cab/s used and just for the record, Im not a tone is in the fingers guy either lol I just think that most of the amps used have a similar topology and its the way they are dialed in. I would bet that upping the gain on most of the amps would yield a different tone just for a referance sake!!
