Here's a couple of pics of my current amps (My Fender Tweed Deluxe, Speigle 603a and Triaxis/2:90 rack with my pair of Recto 4x12's are in storage and not available for pics at this time).

It's been a long time since they were all togther in the same room, so I decided to snap a few pics and thought I'd share.

The one amp I'm GASSING for is a Bogner XTC. I really want to get one of them soooooo bad it hurts.

Feel free to comment or ask questions about any of them and I'll be glad to answer. Enjoy.

That is an awesome arsenal! I'm just suprised with all those amps, a Marshall didn't creep in somewhere.

The Soldano covers the "Marshall" tones to some degree, maybe more to the modded Marshall side of it instead of a stock Marshall. If I get my hands on a XTC, then I would be close enough for sure to have it covered.

or a Mark IV.

:D
Probably the only other Mesa I would like to own someday.

Although I wouldn't mind swapping my RKI for a RKII.

The XTC Classic is ridiculous. You should definitely buy one!

Awesome collection, man! Which one gets most playing time and which one's your favorite for covering most of the sounds?

The SLO and Dual Recto run a close tie, but the Uberschall has taken the lead recently. It is becoming my favorite in a fast way. It's hard to describe how many awesome tones the Uberschall is capable of throwing at you, clean or distorted. If anybody says the Uberschall can't get a great clean sound they need their head or their gear examined. The Uberschall is the only two channel amp I own that can go from clean to a heavy rhythm tone and have a great lead tone without any help from a boost pedal or other outside influence. Leads sound great on either bridge or neck pickups without having to change the eq. Great amp. That's why I'm itching to get the XTC.

Stellar collection! I have an Uber too and also really love it. Cant understand the Uber-Hate that occurs. Mine is also a Rev 2 like yours. Wonder if that has something to with it?

nice equipment my fellow Louisiana brother...so what's your address?? the bed of my truck is empty...may need to take a few of them fancy amps for myself :D :D ....seriously...killer stuff

Nice rig, don't get me wrong. I dig that Hiwatt. However, there is no Marshall. The soldano doesn't cover the sound of a good 70s marshall and neither will an XTC.

I have an XTC and 10 Marshalls, the Marshalls aren't going anywhere.

Nice collection, I would love to try out the soldano SLO and/or Hiwatt you have.

Only type of amp I see missing is a Vox AC30 style amp....

looks like you have all the bases covered, i like the rig collection.

Yeah, I would say the SLO covers more of the modded 80's Marshall sound. I've heard/read that the Plexi mode on the XTC is really good and very close to a 70's Marshall. But since I have not had the chance to play one myself I cannot say for sure. The Hiwatt kicks major ass for a vintage style 50 watt amp, very clean.

I had actually been talking with Jimmy Wigel about building me one of his Purplexing amps, but after 3 yrs of getting the run-around (guess I'm not famous enough) I moved on and bought the Uberschall. Glad I did.

without a rack, you'll never be covered.

I was gonna say XTC though.

Dude,

cool rack rig. lots of similar stuff to Vernon Reid's trimmed down '94 rig.

are you using a splitter and running everything parallel into the line mixer?

damn

is one of the Mesa 2x12's closed back and 1 open?

Yes, top = 2 Celestion C90 open back, bottom = 2 Celestion V30 Recto closed back

I run the Triaxis parallel to my effects and mix them together before the 2:90.

My signal chain goes like this:
Guitar -> Wireless (or cable in) -> Floor pedals (Valvulator -> MXR Phase 90 -> MRX Flanger -> Morley Bad Horsie) -> 300G comp -> Gate -> Triaxis -> Gate -> 2:90 (channel A) -> Palmer load box -> Rane mixer. The mixer sends my unmolested dry signal from the Palmer to my effects units. Then the effects units are mixed individually back into the mixer along with the dry signal and sent to the BBE Maximizer, then to the 2:90 (channel B) which powers my cabs. Works great because the Triaxis signal never gets messed with like a series type of set-up. I run channel A on the 2:90 just loud enough to get some power tube compression and color and then hit the effects with it.
