Ok so this is the amp history...Herbert was bought from Diezel by my friend Rob in 2007 or 2008, I'm the second owner. The Herbert was originally wired for 100v because Rob was playing gigs in Okinawa, Japan. After he bought his other amp the Herbert was just sitting around and so he sold it to me at a pretty good price to include shipping and changing the internal connections on the transformer so I could plugin the 120v, here in the states. So I got the amp in March 2012....I play the amp in my studio when I can and started to have problems last year with excessive volume drop. I posted a message and the suggestions I got where to get new tubes. So I got a set of tubes, preamp and power, changed them and reset the bias, played it a couple time and had the problem reoccur once. I'm going to try to post a video in the post but it i can't get it to work the title is: My Diezel Herbert is sick

Any constructive suggestions are appreciated,

Thanks

I had extreme noise problems with a blue face VH4 and while Diezel Germany was trying their damndest to help, there was no "real" repair site in the northeast where I live...I ended up returning the amp for a Herbert and haven't had any problems. Good luck with yours...hopefully there's a repair center close by for you.

Yeah, I'm not sure about a repair center here in Florida. I think there was one in the southern part but at this point i would be willing to send it back to Peter in Germany.

The email address is mike.jay (at) comcast (dot) net.
The company name is ProAudio Electronics, 1242 East Hillsborough Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33604.

Thanks Peter  I'll contact him today so see about shipping.

Thanks for this Peter. I recently moved down to FL and it's nice to know there is a repair option here.
Last time I sent my amp to CA.

BTW, check this out...from last Friday's gig. Great stage, great gig --> ALL DIEZEL
