Herbert would be my suggestion.

someone knows in center italy where i can test some diezels?

I own all three, VH4, Hagen, and Herbert, I can definitely tell you if you want Metallica, especially the Black Album, get the HERBERT..with the Mid Cut on your in Black Album heaven.

Cheers.

First of all, welcome!! You NEVER go wrong with Diezel.

Now, I agree with the Herbert suggestion...I have hagen as well and Herbert just seems to be the go to more often.
Hagen and VH4 have the 4 channels, yet I never seemed to need 4, Herbert's 3 channels are plenty.
AND channel 2 on Herbert is really great, very versatile and gets MANY classic tones.

Try them if you can, but don't worry...ANY Diezel will satisfy

I usually always recommend the VH-4... especially since in this case one of your references uses a VH-4 (Hetfield)...but the recorded tones from the older albums are much more scooped than what the VH-4 will provide... it's really impossible to scoop a VH-4, even with the mid knob turned WAY down it has an inherent midrange grind...

...definitely give the Herbert a shot... I think you'll be extremely satisfied with it... and the INCREDIBLE cleans are a nice bonus as well... best cleans I've ever heard on a high gain switcher... a little chorus in the amazing effects loop and you'll be smiling ear to ear...

I agree. VH4 and Herbert are both amazing. If you are tight on budget D-Moll is also amazing and does have the mid-cut option. You can't go wrong with whichever you choose.

I mainly play both metallica and black sabbath! I got the Herbert and i'm happy with it.
It's a very versatile amp with its own voice yet. If you want to get last Hetfield tones it is better to get a vh4, it all depends on the sound you want to achieve...
Try them if you can ;)
Here's a little video I did, the audio went a little too sharp but it was better in person.

Honestly man, tell us what you really play? :D

We open all of our shows with:

I own a jcm 900 with his cb and a evh mini 50 w with a mesa 2x12 vertical
some pedals
and some jackson rr1 and soloist

I want something really easy to set and that can produce on studio good tones fasters

You'll have to spend few days to get the best of your new amp, and it's normal, after that period, you will find your Diezel to be super easy and responsive, ready to suite your different tone requests ;)
If you're not in a hurry you can also wait the upcoming Fokker ;)

Just shortcut it and buy the VH4. If you play such styles it will be the Diezel that you will wish for in the end

I'm writing you a pm

I would say a VH4; need a good ESP or Gibson (which get kinda pricey if you want one that stays in tune). With that said, I would go VH4 and ESP. My next guitar will probably be an ESP Horizon; it has that "Gibson" tone with a high-end Ibanez playability. I play through an Indonesian G&L Rampage (very dark, staccato and defined guitar), but it doesn't cry so well on the lead stuff. Something to do with the Kahler I think. All this typing has me missing my '57 Reissue Les Paul :(.

I owned a Horizon NTII for about 5 years. Played like a dream. It has no way near the depth, resonance & character of a solid body Gibson though, let's be honest. In fact even the Edwards LP guitars don't sound like Les Pauls.
Not even a PRS sounds that much like a gibson & they're as close to a gibson/superstrat hybrid as you'll buy.

I found the Horizon to be pretty clinical & bright, especially with the ebony fretboard. If I were going for another shred guitar of that class, i'd probably look at an Ibanez. More wood & better necks.

I thought Hetfield had a Hagen now, or am I wrong?

tbh you can't go "wrong" with any of them. It's always best to try if you really want to be sure though. I'd very nearly bought a VH4, but when trying them in the shop I got a Herbie. If I'd got a VH4 though I certainly wouldn't complain, and occasionally I wonder if having the 4th channel would have been helpful, and a gain knob on the clean channel! :)

Whichever Diezel guitar amplifier that choose you will not disappoint you.

However, I would strongly recommend and suggest that you pair your new Diezel guitar amplifier with any one of Peter's superior speaker cabinets. In my opinion this is a fundamental mistake many people make when entering the Diezel family of guitar amplifiers. This common mistake never ceases to amaze me.

How do you figure that? There are a number of reputable cabinet makers that make excellent cabinets housing V30 speakers. The Diezel cabs are great, but to run an amp into a non-diezel cabinet is anything but a mistake. My rig sounds amazing. Matching an amp to tubes, guitars, cabinets & speakers is part of the subjective tone-searching experience.

Nice Mandelbrot Set in your avatar btw.
