Here it is, my first proper guitarrig :) bespoke case from Castle Cases in the UK. I'll let you hazard a guess on the rest :lol: :LOL: thanks a lot to Brad and the other guys who chimed in on my "pre-rig thread"! :rock:

custom built case with double handles makes lifting it a breeze :thumbsup:

Everything is complete, just lacking some isolating screw holders for the rack rails, to eliminate the common ground. There is some noise but not very much, so that's good. Anyone know where I can buy those shoulder washers online? Thomann perhaps?
cables are George L's .155, with Neutrik soldered connectors. I didn't make custom cables for power so you'll have to excuse the slightly cluttered cable job!

I'm trying it out live friday night for the first time, hope everything holds up so wish me luck! ;)

Nice rig. Be careful, it's probably top heavy. Usually, you want to put the heaviest piece of gear on the bottom.
 
Looks killer! I want a head/rack case like that for my Herbie :)

Are the pedals in your parallel loop and the decimator in your serial?

@ SFW: Yes the weight/balance issues was a cause for concern and much deliberation, originally I had planned to put the amp head below the rack rails, but after doing some calculations I reckoned that the sum of parts in the rack will weigh approx the same as the head, which would help to even things out. Also, the case is fairly deep so it is very stable. What sealed the deal for me was having way better access to the amp controls when it's on top. If it was stuck in the bottom I'd have to get on my knees every time I wanted to tweak something so that wasn't an option unless I would have -really- had to. :no: Obviously, I'll have to be really careful when transporting it but then again I was always careful to secure things with loading straps in the back of the van.

@ cyndicate: Yes the 2nd channel of the decimator goes in the serial loop, and I use the carbon copy delay in the parallell loop (via a GCX controlled loop) - I first tried doing the switchable send->parallell return trick for the delay to save some length on the signal path, but it gave me a loudness boost so I opted for going through a GCX loop. It works just as fine :)

Looks great man!...but if you ever add to this rig...................youll need another rack,and another back! :D Seriously though, looks great;ive got a 20 spc full and wouldnt trade it for nothing!.....
 
Little B: Thanks, nah I've got 3 spaces set aside in it if I want to go for keeping the signal in the rack using a rack wah, tuner and wireless in the future ;) My wallet will need a major recovery first though, :lol: :LOL: I'm also GAS'ing for one of the new Diezel FL cabs (even though my ENGL straight V30 412 sounds great..GAS for more right??)
