So, 2 years ago I felt an identity shift going back to my childhood dream of becoming a musician.
Short story, I was considered a bit of a guitar protégé in my early teens by the late 90s stds of my small local Greek community bc I could transcribe and play Zep and Sabbath solos by age 13. I then started composing and played in original bands until Uni when I was eventually steered towards a more conventional career path in engineering, luckily a rewarding one in retrospect. During uni I just spend my music time noodling exercises and eventually played in some cover bands. Then off to grad school in the UK where I completed the el. gtr syllabus, messed a bit with Jazz, and played in a pro function band alongside the day job for years until the pandemic killed it. At that time my baby girl was born and somehow she awakened my juvenile dream of being a guitar hero. In my late 30s and with some dosh to burn I was already a gear addict churning 100-watters like candy so I thought why not capture my quest for tone and melodies in my own music.
So here it is, all composed and played by me inc. amateur mixing, editing, bass recording and drums programming (all of that shows in the quality btw..).
Hope links work
