Decent.
Boosted clean manages to take any of my LP/LPCs and give almost tele-type smackin' pickin' attack tones to the edge of the notes. Super bouncy and round with awesome pick attack. Mega funk mode - easily done Does crisper clean playing easily...that's a given, but ya, the clean is everything I was hoping for.
Ch.2 unboost/boost is great. Higher mids to my ears, tighter than the XTC, not as aggressive as the TJ. Bottom end is nicely balanced in both modes, excursion dial on the back is key to this. For jamming/gigging, still need to try it; but for recording, no bass/lowend ever makes it through the mic anyway, so this is going to sound great for recording. Still navigating the mode/bright/shift styles in this channel under boost/regular. Has the Uberschall/TJ style of counterintuitive middle/treble EQ response/reaction. I'm cool with that - I'm used to that.
Overall, need more time. But thus far - delivering exactly what I'd hoped for. Simple, straight up, different flavour to the rest of the Bogners I own, but a Bogner flavour nonetheless. An excellent addition to the family.
Non-reverb model, being played through Bogner 412 V30 cab.
iPhone clips coming once I get some straight up "win" tones from it.
I dig.
