Hey Rigtalkers!

If you want to know all about rack gear, wet/dry/wet rigs, audio loopers, function switchers, rig infrastructure products (custom rack cases, power conditioning, etc.), MIDI foot controllers... basically all the components that go into building pro guitar rigs, you'll enjoy my new book. There is no other title covering this content on the market.

I also interviewed many of the top custom rig builders for the book, and provide the most in-depth look at rigs from guys like John Petrucci and Alex Lifeson (and more) than anything you've seen or read before. When you're done with my book, you'd be able to walk up to Alex Lifeson's rig and run it!

If you live in the USA, you can get a 25% discount plus free shipping just by going to MusicPlayers.com and clicking one of the banner ads for music dispatch, as I worked a deal with them to get discounts on music book titles. Be sure to note the discount code on the landing page...

Scott

This site next to HRI is probably the site to go to if you want serious rack info which is pretty damn cool imo.

Any rack book should have a forward written by Mentoneman with a picture of him in a smoking jacket petting a giant anteatter while fog rolls past the shoot as he paints a landscape of LA Labs creations and cases of aquanet.

Cool book though, will check it out.

I wonder if Zack's rig made the press. That would be equivalent to the Playboy Centerfold.

Probably true but with all the information on the internet, you can say that about just about every nonfiction book out there.

Book sounds interesting to me.

Ha! The information is presented in a logical arrangement that will help those players with less experience (the intended readers) understand how all the pieces of the rig puzzle actually fit together.

The rig details are way beyond anything previously published anywhere. And the interviews are truly unique.

Cool concept and looks good. Only downside I can think of is most guitar players can't read.

Nah, those are drummers and bass players. Most of us guitar players got past the 6th grade.

My thoughts exactly.

Just wanted to say... I tried to go through the process of ordering the book with the 20% off already, but no luck.

Hi Scott,

congratulation for the release of this book ! I want one !

Cheers.

EDIT : on the front page, the rig with 2 Mesa looks a lot like the rig I've seen John Petrucci with a few weeks ago, am I wrong ?

I can EASILY carry it into my reading room (the toilet in my bedroom   ) and sit down and actually read it. You can probably find the information contained in the book by searching the web, forums, etc...and trying to peace meal it all together but to have a book that will break everything down in a readable content would be VERY cool.

I will definitely grab a copy here in the next few weeks...especially if we can figure out how to get the discount!!

I hope you interviewed Dave Friedman, nobody has built more custom touring racks in the past 10 years then him.

I tried to order but can't see where to add the discount code.
