I hereby want to make an unreserved apology to Mr. Diezel and especially Mr. Stapfer. When writing the accusations made on this forum for about a week ago I unfortunately got carried away by emotions. I still stick to what has been written from my side with regard to the facts (but not the form). If there is a flipside of the coin then this must be a misunderstanding and I am more than willing to discuss that with the people it may concern in private.
But I honestly and deeply regret that I put this matter in this forum.
On the one hand because I understand now that it wasn`t the right thing to do from an ethical point of view, on the other hand, did I unfortunately draw a completely wrong picture of the Diezel company and Mr. Stapfer.
My sincere opinion about their amp company is that they build amps and cabinets of unsurpassed quality both with regard to tone and workmanship and have a unique customer service which is reflected by the efforts Peter Diezel makes on this forum to help his customers.
I am also fully convinced of that both of them kick their asses of, to make the products they have become famous for and to help their customers.
So once more….. my unreserved apologies… . I really didn`t do Mr. Stapfer as a hard working master craftsman justice, and ask for forgiveness as a poor sinner.
And by the way- don`t be to harsh on me either- it was my first mistake since the 06.07.1969
