Please take a listen to some or all the 11 tracks and let me know if you like the style etc or whatever you wish.

I have created this over the last 3months, my first time really trying to put proper time into getting things recorded, edited, eq'd/mixed and mastered. I did this all at home no studio.

Thanks to those in advance that take the time to give my work a honest listen.

Hi Lessarti,
I listened to a couple of your songs. The tracking is complete and pretty tight. Some nice riffing and drum programming. It seems the mixing is where you made some mistakes. I'm no expert, but just wanted to share what I thought when I listened as help. Constructive criticism.

First thing I noticed was it needed some limiting on the master buss. The band I listened to before yours was way louder. This is easy to over do and there are lots of arguments about loudness wars. Bottom line for me is, heavy music doesn't sound right without some limiting on the master buss. Some good cheap ones are Stillwell's Event Horizon or Variety of Sound's Density.

Vocals are WAY too over processed. It might work in spots. Retrack some of it with more guts and range.

No bottom end. Tricky thing to learn. Experiment endlessly and listen on many systems.

The guitars are too up front or separate sounding from the drums. A little reverb using parallel fx busses is a start. Again a tough nut to crack. Did hard pan the gits and use slightly different gear for each? The tone is fine, it's just how they sit that is funky.

I hope you don't interpret this a a beating. I'm only trying to help.

Thanks for the constructive help Patf, this is my first time ever putting a decent amount of effort into doing my own stuff completely so definitely there will be room for improvement in certain specific areas. I did use delay to fatten and widen the vocals, so i can see where it could sound over processed to your ears. It is a matter of taste i guess but i was going for a thick sound vocally.

I used -.5db limiting so that is why it is much quieter i suppose. I didn't want to do the usual "louder is better" that most everyone seems to do these days... just did my own thing i guess..

bottomend for guitars to me was tough as i was paranoid to making it sound too woofy, so i shelved the lows and tried to dial in the freq that made the guitars fit in the mix overall. I am pretty new to mixing and stuff so i think i did a pretty darn good job on it for 1st album sake. I do appreciate your input though so for future tracks i will definitely look at trying vocals with less effects and more low freq for guitars etc.

I have listened your all 11 tracks these all are really very nice and interesting especially your voice are marvelous.Keep it up great job and thanks for your posting your solo album here.

I have listen your album and i really appreciate your work .I would like to suggest you that share some of your songs on Face book and get response .

i'm down with these tunes, reminds me of Rust In Peace Megadeth with some Avenged Sevenfold in there. you just need to lay down a bass track to round out the sound.

ya man, i'm really digging everything about these tunes, love that guitar tone you're getting.

Your solo album is really awesome. I listened all the tracks of your album the track which I like very much is Smoke Screen and The Wait. Thank you so much for posting your track here.
