Talk about an opportunity!!!!!! I went to music go round here in Milwaukee and unbeknownst to me, these guys are an authorized Diezel dealer.
As you can see in my title they had these three, Heads. I own a 2005 VH4 so I was really curious on what if any difference there might be from mine to a 2013. The 4 was running through a Diezel 4x12 loaded with Vintage 30's and i have to admit that this amp had to be pushed to get a nice breakup where mine breaks up a little earlier. Maybe because it was brand new. It did feel a little stiff. Outside of that there (for my ears) was not much of a difference from mine to a new one.
I plugged into the Dmoll and I have to say that thing was impressive. A lot of different tones coming out of that thing. The gain seemed a bit hairy unlike the 4 which was smoother on the top end.
Now.......the Hagen!!!!!! Holyshit! That motherfucker could destroy buildings. It had it all. The power of the 4, the versatility of the Dmoll. Just flat out bad ass. Needless to say, the Hagen will coming home with me.
This is not an official review just sharing my thoughts on a rare opportunity to actual try different Diezel's at once. On!!!!!
