My turn.... New CCV day...with crappy iphone vid :0

I had a CCV last year. This one is every bit as good as I remember that one being. It seems a little brighter and more present than that one was though. I'll have it here on Sunday to compare with the same settings. Here's the pics and an iphone video....

Here are the settings for the video. I used my stock LP R8 straight into the amp. I have a Neunaber WET reverb in the loop with just a touch of added reverb. Cab is a Mills Afterburner with Scumback H55/H75LHDCs.

I'll agree with Art the white light has to go. It'll blind you if you stare at it too long. :lol: :LOL: Otherwise it's perfect.
 
Mine was already replaced, now red. That sucker was bright.
 
Sounds mean. I'm glad you think it sounds as good or better than the old ones!
 
clips sound great, amp seems quiet for a high gainer and tight as hell also! thanks for putting them up.
 
Looks and sounds great Matt. :rock: Thanks for posting. I'm surprised the same settings are working with the new amp. I would have thought you would have to redial it in compared to some of the earlier models as this one has more gain and I think Art said the switches were a little different. Bright is good when one can easily dial it out if one wished. Another one who knows the amps gives two thumbs up. :2thumbsup:

Thanks guys. Yeah. I love how tight it is even though I'm using the lower output pups and it's not being boosted.
 
Makes sense to me that with the amp being redone as it was, and having different tubes in it, which im sure it does, its gonna sound different to some extent. IMO setting the controls the same on an older CCV compared to the newer one , its gonna be a different tone. That being said, everything ive heard from this newer version sounds killer!
 
mark really wanted the white light. I really didnt notice it until i stared at if for a moment. Now i get what u guys are saying.
 
Congrats Matt! Your clip sounds great and I dig the riff choices.

I wish I hadn't sold my spot now. :doh: :lol: :LOL:
