This is just a test. I am brand new to the home studio and this is my very first test mix. I think it's weak in volume, a little muddy in the low mids and a little boomy at the bottom for the kick drum. I need to learn more about how to EQ. Also, I am using a little delay on the guitars and it is causing like a weird modulation effect. Let me know what you think.

I just played a couple of simple rhythm riffs... this is not intended to be a song.

Interface: Line 6 UX2
Guitar: Gibson Les Paul Custom & Amplitube 3
Bass: Epiphone Toby Deluxe IV & Amplitube 3
Drums: Addictive Drums with the 90s rock set from the studio bundle
DAW: Reaper

Blues, Rock, Metal and a mix of all of those. This is my first go around with doing any recording so I am trying to learn as much as I can so I can put some songs together and get practice. I played in bands for a lot of years but haven't really jammed with anyone since 2007... trying to get back into making music.
