Ok....had this amp for about a month. Never had a 'stereo' amp before. Always ran one 4X12 cab.
Well........ :D
We played today and for shits and giggles I decided to shut off one of the 4X12's.

WOW.........my ears got SPOILED with running in STEREO!!!!

No way can I go back to the one cab. :gethim:

Thank you Mr. Diezel for giving me the BEST SOUND EVER!!!

Sorry.......just ranting over this kick ass amp! ;)

What a great amp...and what a great company!

I wrote Peter an Email just to thank him for the great product he makes. Not thinking of even getting a reply...
He wrote me back the next day personally!

Yeah......I am loving this!
I am sold for life!!

Thanks you POPS!!(slang for Poppa!) :D
Glad to be in Your Family!!

I hear ya Braddah... When I played my VH4, I was like - there is NO way this could EVER get better, it's the PERFECT amp for me!! Then, well...I bought the "S" on a whim, and holy shyte - I was doubly blown away. I LOVE true stereo panning FX like DD, Reverb, Chorus, and Flange - I barely use them, but my GAWD man - when I do, through 2 cabs, it's just BLISS!!! And of course, to me - with 2 cabs in stereo, it truly is the ultimate WALL OF SOUND

Glad you're loving it - it's definitely my Diezel of choice

Peace,
V.

None of my heads are stereo but I ran a stereo rack rig (JMP-1/9200) for a long time and it was killer.

That being said, even with one of my mono heads, 2 cabs is always better than one, no doubt about it.

Can't wait to get the Herbert and fire it up with my cabs. Should totally :uzi: :powpow: :jedi: :force:

Whats funny is when I turned off one of the cabinets........
my drummer and bass player looked at me and said "What happened? Sounds thin."
I told them that this is what we played for the last 6 years....the one 4X12.
That 2nd 4X12 REALLY REALLY makes a difference.
I have the cabs next to each other and not stacked. Like a literal WALL OF SOUND!
I am spoiled! :D

But knowing me I have to go all out. I've wanted an Engl Pro XXL for a while now. That along with my current Engl cab would make a sweet stack, but you know two stacks would be even nicer. Ah crap... here I go again. :aww:

I dont stack em.......I use them side by side and HOLY CRAP.....wall of tone!!
I should of gotten a better cab....but was short on funds and it sounds SOOOO SWEET so....it stayed!

But the XXL and regular cab would look uneven, hence the need (yes, need) for 2 stacks.

Agreed - stacked is a waste... Side by side is killer, especially with a slight out-angle between them. I sometimes play one in just a slight delay off from the other one.... Like, so miniscule - but it totally thickens the sound up. With the independent EQ, I adjust the depth and prez just enough to make them different. 2 guitarists coming from 1 guy and his ax.

Bloody awesome!!
