Great amp! I had one about a year ago. With the right guitar, I could have almost got by with just the overdrive channel. It cleaned up by rolling back the volume on the guitar better than any amp I've ever had with. Guitar was a Wolfgang Standard.
Clip sounds great! Enjoy.

Sounds great and at a volume low enough we can hear the pic hit the strings.

BTW - how does it sound with the gain on 10 while you riff on the low E?

Sweet.
Good choice of riffing and styles to demonstrate the amp's range of tone.

My question... When you hit the foot pedal, you were changing channels? right? That wasn't a fuzz tone or something.
It sounded great.

PS thanks for showing your actual guitar and playing in the vid. Nothing as boring as a 2 minute video clip of an amplifier and no guitarist.

Yep, that was the channel switcher, there were no FX whatsoever, just guitar, cable, Budda.

I have the gain at 5-6, more tends to get muddy with humbuckers.

As it's tube rectified and quite saggy, you don't need much gain to get the smoothness for fluid playing. So you don't need so much actually. I suppose the reserves are there for weaker pickups, will try the Tele tomorrow.

I don't think I've ever heard anyone play a Spin Doctor's riff besides the Spin Doctors. Well done!

The amp sounds great. Not what I was expecting at all. I'll have to check one out.

Nice!

I think I'm getting the head very soon.

This guy has great clips:

Yeah they sound cool, I prefer the budda speaker to those V30 clips, but haven't recorded it yet with a close mic, that's gonna be interesting I suppose.

I think the Budda SDs with their price tag are in a niche where people buy them as backups and end up using them as their main rig.

This post needs a pic:

Great stuff, I played the 18 some time ago and loved it, too.

The 30 has a bit more oomph to it though. Must be from the additional headroom.

Anyone played the 45? Is it true that it's so bright?

what is so bad about the spin doctors riff/solo?

I think it is a great riff and interesting solo too, still trying to figure out what scale the guy is playing there ... with my limited knowledge though ...
