Took the nearly 8-hour round trip to KC to pick up this beast yesterday. 2008 Cornford MK50 II with matching 4x12 Cab in oxblood. Signed and dated on the chassis by Martin Kidd. Built for the U.S. Market at 115V. Interesting story on this one, the guy bought it brand new in Minneapolis (IIRC, the road cases are from Minnie) in 2008 in anticipation of going out on tour with his band. As soon as he picked it up, he had the custom road cases built for them to survive the rigors of the road.... and then his band broke up. ☹️ The head/cab have been sitting in these cases ever since, and while I haven't removed them to check, he said these are mint as the day he bought them. He said the head has gotten a fair amount of use over the years, but with a smaller 2x12 Dr. Z cab that he has because it was way easier to cart around, and the 4x12 has pretty much sat untouched. All I know is that these road case are MASSIVE, and weight a ton. Big shout out to my better half for helping me to get these unloaded yesterday. Took all the muscles she had. :ROFLMAO:

If you're talking about Guthrie Govan levels of putting pants on one leg at a time, I'm already there. Guitar playing, never.. :ROFLMAO:

I wondered if there were any RT brethren in that neck of the woods. It was a quick trip, as we needed to get back but would have been cool to put a face to some names.

I see you explained to your wife.....honey I sold a bunch of Mesa Boogie stuff there are spaces on the shelves that need refilled!

I remember when these first came out a bass player that I worked with kept telling me I had to upgrade from my Marshall's..........
