Only spent about 20 mins so far with it, but I’ve already been able to dial in tones that I like over any of the other 5 Diezels I’ve owned so far. I’ve found the screen very easy and intuitive to navigate. I’m loving the concept of having presets on a tube amp. Different presets for my ESP and my Tele. Just plug in and click over and Bob’s your uncle.

One possible issue though, when I cycle through the different channels, I’m getting varying volume levels without changing any other settings. Green being by far the loudest, yellow and blue being maybe half the volume of green, and red being about 75%. Hoping this might be a preamp tube issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I’m gonna do some tube rolling in a bit. I’ll be posting some clips in this thread in the coming days, both mic’d and using the direct recording out with the internal IR, and then bypass the IR and go into some 3rd party ones.

Your post had me wondering about the volumes, because I thought I’ve encountered that before. However, I just checked and made sure each channel was at volume 0.75 before switching. Nothing was noticeably louder than the other. I still have the stock tung sol preamp tubes.

Easy to have happen first time with this amp! There’s at least three different places to adjust volumes.
There's a little learning curve to it, but nothing worse than a Quad Cortex or something like that. I was up and running in a minute. Really loving it so far.

This might be the greatest amp ever! I’m still planning to post a few clips. I’ve just been busy making presets and just jamming out. It really can do everything. What a great piece of tech @Leo Diezel @Peter Diezel

Here's a clip using the red channel in cabless mode, going direct into my interface using the VHX's IRs. Using a baritone Telecaster tuned to G# standard. Really great for practicing quietly or possibly live, but I don't think it's something I would commit to an album.

have fun with it!
but no, it can't do everything, it can do a massive amount of stuff, but the Diezel DNA is definately in there.
Now, if there was a variable switchable lowcut early on, then the possibilities would quadruple.
The IR are OK for clean and low gain, but it sounds so much better with a real cab!

since i love blue shape0 modern, which is not a real representation of any other Diezel i am glad i went with the VHX, too!
it's sounds the most pleasing and most evil to my ears at the same time!
