NAD - Finally!

So after all the problems and everything, I finally have my Herbert working 100% thanks to Duolos (Terry, you rock man!).

Since I never got to make a NAD thread when I first got it, I figured I deserve one now!

I love it. My bandmates love it. It completely kills the ENGL's I have owned, including the SE. It's still new to me, so I guess it may partly be 'new gear syndrome' but I was truly tickled by the sound we had in the studio last night, and we were there for a solid 5 hours just messing around dialing stuff in. I can't wait to get back there and actually get some stuff recorded. Hopefully I will have clips soon.

I am already trying to figure out how to get a matching cab. Sadly it will be a while since I really need to get a backup head of some kind so if there ever is a problem with Herbie in the future, I don't have to go crazy with no amp while it's in the hospital.

studiojig... you sure did, and your were 100% right. I just got done playing around with it some more, and I am in mad love with this amp.

I can't wait until I can get back to the studio to be able to turn this thing up again. Just something about feeling my bones rattle while I am playing that makes me giggle.

Glad you're digging it. Mine is unquestionably the best amp I've ever owned. I thought it couldn't get any better 'til I heard one of the new Diezel cabs. I simply don't have words to properly express what a mindblowing, otherworldly experience that is. They are simply magic in a cabinet. I truly mean it and I'm simply not one to gush over things like this - especially at that pricepoint. I was made a believer though and I know cherish a FL w/ G12-K100's. The only problem I face now is that I want (and plan to get) a VH4 and one of the rear loaded cabs as they sound phenomenal as well!

Anyway, if there's any way at ALL you can get yourself a new Diezel cab believe me you will be well rewarded And hey, an added bonus is that cab makes all other amps sound better



Oh, and I should add that Diezel customer service - as you've pointed out - is the BEST. Terry could not be a more awesome gent!
