It's too early for any real comparison to the Hagen.
I've got some time this weekend and will play them side by side and figure out if I like my Mesa cab or the Diezel cab better, although I think I already know the answer.
I will say that I'm totally blown away by this little amp. It's funny, when I first opened the box I thought what a cute little amp.. It looks like a mini Diezel.. Then I plugged it in and forgot about the size
It has that punch you in the chest bottom end.
I know Peter was trying to make a more affordable amp but make no mistake, there have been no corners cut here.
This amp is everything you'd expect from a Diezel, built like a tank and will last forever. I've been playing Diezels for more than 3 years now and just like the other two I've owned, the amp is plug and play. I had great tones coming out of the Dmoll in less than 5 minutes of tweaking.
After an hour of playing it, it felt like I'd had the amp for years.
The unbelievable thing about this amp is that you can buy it brand new for the same price that used Herberts, vh4's etc are going for.
At the end of the day this is a great deal on a brand new amp that has all the Diezel signature tones, and I'm happy to support Diezel and King guitar by buying new.
