NAD: New Album Day

Just released this today. This is the first album where I played both guitars and bass AND programmed drums with it. Everything but the vocals. I’m pretty happy with it and already have some ideas for the next one, both with material and tones. Check it out!

Thanks man, and it was a lot- maybe too much. Drum programming is definitely not my favorite thing in the world. It’s cool to be able to get a part exactly like you want it, but I’d take a live drummer any day just for the simplicity of it.

Ha! Good ear. Secrets of the Black Arts was my first ever black metal album when I was a teen in the 90s, and I think its DNA is burned into my brain.

Thanks again man. I was pretty aggressive with the mixing and especially the mastering but I’m happy with the final result. I’ll definitely be trying some different tricks and maybe a more doom/stoner sound on the next one.
