Hey guys,

So after some time thinking about a Diezel amp I finally took the plunge and ordered my first (and I think after reading some threads here, not my last) Diezel amplifier. I decided to order a Diezel Herbert, can't wait until it is here and it would make a cool Rig with my Port City Cab and my Axe FX II as an effects processor (perhaps I will wire it 4CM and use it as a preamp, too).

Yeah I intend to play Metal with it :-)
I just realized Diezel isn't far away from me :-)

I would guess that yes. When I switch the power switch on thise noise gets out of the amp. When I switch the standby switch on this noise gets through the speaker cabinet. I will send it back and get a new one, but that really sucks, as I was soooo happy to finally have it. I also realized that I wasn't able to select any channels via the switches on the front panel, the amp didn't react at all.

My dealer is around 300km away from me, it's already sent back. After it arrived at them the new one will be sent to me :)

No, the first one wasn't working and I am still waiting for its replacement. Should be sent, today ;)

My fave for the Herbert was always Channel 2+ with Mid cut OFF!! :rock:
But its damn near impossible to get a bad tone out of Diezel amps. ;)

:lol: :LOL: Yes it sucks, but I can laugh about it, it's no big deal for me, it's not the fault of the music store neither the fault of the Diezel crew...I know how all the carriers over here handle their goods, so I guess it's been damaged on the way to me. Yeah and already I really think about the next one :D Maybe 2 Herberts for some nice stereo rig....Don't know yet :)
 
Herbert's quite the grand entry into the Diezel Family. Congrats!!
