This beast just arrived today. Traded for it off this site/SS.org site. All the snow in Atlanta delayed the delivery for 5 days, so I was worried, but it showed up in perfect shape.
This is the Rev Blue with EL34's.

I've always wanted an Uberschall since it became my favorite model in my Line 6 stuff from years ago, when a POD was about all I could afford. It's all I dreamed of, just awesome. I already had a Bogner Ubercab with some front loaded G12K100's that I had my Diezel hooked up through. The Bogner sounds amazing through that cab.

I have a Voodoo Labs GCX switcher that should be delivered tomorrow, but for now I just have a Radial ABY so I can play pedals through both amps together, also the effects loops from each amp through the Left and right sides of the Axe-Fx and it really does sound massive, beefy and clear. I suck at tone adjectives, but it's a sound that I absolutely love.

Here is a pic of the amp with everything else. I was an exclusive Axe-Fx junkie for a long time, but I've slowly built up some real amps/pedals/cabs over the last year. When I get it all situated, will be posting some rig pics.

Congrats! There's an Ubie Rev Blue for sale locally near me and I'm SO CLOSE to pulling the trigger. What are your initial impressions of this thing? Like you, I've always wanted one of these amps.

Cheers!

If you play any dropped tuning and like thick burley sounding metal the Uberschall will fit your needs very well !!!
It can do more then that but I would say that's where it shines !!!

My first impression was chills, I love it. I am not good at describing the sounds with all the hyperbole words, but it was everything I thought and hoped it would be. I do think the cab makes a difference too. Same settings through front loaded Ubercab sounds different through the rear loaded Splawn 2x12. Neither were bad, just different with the Splawn being a darker, deeper sound.

I didn't mess around with the clean channel yet, but that's not why I got it.

Hope that helps a little, I would not say to get it without knowing what you want, etc... But for me, I want as much gain as I can get with great clarity, without sounding like a fuzzy muddy nat. This does the job.
