I need to get something to run all three - but for now, the VH4 and the Herbert together are ...

VH4 & XTC cleans mixed = the SEX; the holy grail of clean sound to me.

VH4 CH4 & Herbert CH2 "+" & "-" mix together extremely well.

VH4 CH4 or CH2 & XTC Blue is one killer combination too, very beautiful, lightly saturated sound.

Had you your Uber it would rock with VH4 CH2-CH4.

Well, I was borrowing my friend's VH4 and I started to like it more than the Herbert - which is why I ended up buying one - so I guess its my favorite - at least for the time being. The Herbert has been number one for over 2 years now though. The XTC is right up there too. The only amp I feel I'm missing is the Mark IV I sold last summer. If the V comes out, I'll probably pick-up one of those, otherwise, I am cured of amp GAS.

that's why I'm getting a custom made amp with MArk Iv ch.3 and Vh4 ch.3 I'll talk more about it later once te project starts
