NAM hardware player....

The software is Fantastic, and the price can’t be beat.

I can’t bring myself to pay that for the hardware. If I’m recording I’ll have a dedicated computer already, and if I’m playing out or something i still prefer real amps.

Probably cool, but I’m not the target audience.
 
It's only $50 less than the Kemper Player, which is already $300 more than the ToneX Pedal. Seems like it'd be a very niche sell to an already niche market, especially considering it only has reverb as an effect and it can't function as a recording interface like the competition can (you actually have to connect a USB drive to upload new captures or update the system) which is... disappointing to say the least.

I think now that ToneX One is out, the competition is going to have to be AGGRESSIVELY priced to even hope to sell. Until some bigger company comes out with a NAM player at a lower price point, I just can't see it gaining much adoption. Maybe Two Notes will build some hardware device like they've integrated the software into Genome.
