Just scored this '11 PRS DGT on ebay and I'm really diggin' it so far...I'm not really into sig guitars but this one has some unique specs (especially compared to other PRS models).
This is more fourth PRS (and it's been awhile since I had one) but I think this is my favorite. All the others had wide fat necks, but the DGT has their new pattern shape. That plus the jumbo frets definitely give it a different feel than my other PRS. I also like the new v12 finish compared to the nitro...I had a nitro neck on my Swamp Ash Special and was always fighting the stickiness in the Florida humidity. It feels lighter than my McCarty and McCarty Trem.
The bridge pickup is awesome, very articulate. I'm a little so-so on the neck, but I still have to play around with the heights...sounds great dialed down but a little dark/muddy wide open. It has two volume controls which is new to me but I really like it...lots of tones when you blend both pickups. Everybody raves about the split sounds...eh, they're ok.
I also am REALLY liking the simple black with moons. I've had my share of ornate guitars, but this one is just understated class. I feel like I should be wearing a tux when I play it.
Anyway, highly recommended...
