Great cd... if you want some GREAT guitar rock, get it!

I have heard he actually used a Mesa Rectafier for this whole disc.
Great tones... anybody know the truth?

Keith

PS/// Kage... you gotta know this one!! ;)

Don't now what he used, but I love the tones on that album!

and GREAT playing!!

I used to have the video magazine Hot guitarist showing his rig for this album and it was Jcm800 , and Roland effects and guitar synth.
The other Guitarist Joey used the boogie . DC or MK it was not a Recto

I think you're right. I also remember that concert a looong time ago. He had 2 modded 800's, a Hi-watt and ton of effects all in a big amp rack. Also had the synth pickup on a few of the guitars. His live tone was dead on to the recorded tone.

This was a great album. I still listed to it time to time.

I have this cd too...superb disc!!..

from what i remember i was told that he used a boogie MKIII for the album..whatever it was..sounded killer.

I saw them open for Mr. Big at a horse racing track in 1992. It was $2.00 admission and I stood about 3 feet from Schon and then Gilbert. He played an LP with a lot of knobs/switches. Killer show

One of my fav Neal Schon albums for sure!! Killer playing, great tone and awesome tunes

Am I the only one that prefers HSAS to this?

Is this (HSAS) with Sammy Hagar, Kage??

Hope you're well, my friend! ;)
Keith

WTF?

I've always like Hot Cherie, but I never knew Schon was in the band. I guess I'm too young to remember when they were actually out.

HSAS was Hagar,Schon,Kenny Aaronson and Michael Shrieve-Killer
band live-saw them open for Van Halen on the F.U.C.K tour in
Detroit and Schon just tore it up on that black Les Paul w/the Floyd

The hardline rig was huge! Like 2 fridge racks. I think I saw them open for VH at the palace with Eddie and Shep!
