Looking for a Celestion Greenback G12M 25 watt 16 Ohm 12” Speaker from the early 90's and it actually says Made in England in the green plastic cap. Just need one to replace a dying speaker in my Marshall cab.

Please let me know if you have this exact one from this era, not interested in Chinese made or "similar" types from the late 90's or 00's or current. Has to be a 90's era with the plastic cap that says "Made in England".

I might have a line on one of those (early 90’s MIE) with the 6402 cone…
Those are my favourite greenbacks, I have two quads of them, great speakers

Let me know what you come up with I may have found one but the deal hasn't gone through yet.

I think the late 80's early 90's Marshall greenback and vintage cabs are the best kept secrets of the Marshall good sounding cab community. These will be the next sought after collector cabs.

Yep, It’s the speakers, bro…
In my opinion, these are the best greenbacks that were ever produced.
I have an old ‘68 Marshall cab with 003 Cones and I actually prefer the 6402’s

Good to hear no pun intended.

I just got the most immaculate 1992 Classic cab in pretty much mint condition for 400 dollars. No tolex tears or anything only problem was the one speaker with low output. I hope to find a straight cab to match this one. I have a stereo rig just like Cantrell's and am running it with a 90's era vintage Marshall 4x12. Originally I was running a full vintage stack but now that I started running the vintage cab with the classic cab... it's on another level. Plus my Intelliverb is stereo chorus, have no idea why Cantrell doesn't use it anymore but DeLeo still does. Anyways enough with my rambling I don't want to kill the used market by making the prices go up revealing all this...

Yep, I picked up an early 80's straightfront Marshall 4x12 with UK 75T's for $400. Sold the 75T's and bought four matched late 80's/early 90's Greenbacks for cheap and in they went.
Wired up parallel and they sound insane with my old '79 JMP 2203.
It's worth hunting for these things - they're out there, just gotta find them.
