Crud. I paid GC for a Columbus but somehow the order never made it to Diezel. Now I have a show coming up this weekend and won't be able to use my new Herbert halfstack. Anyone have any suggestions on any midi controllers that will work well with Herbert? I am under a time-crunch! Thanks. Larz.  :aww:

any midi switcher will work, just get a Voodoo Labs Ground Control Pro and you are all set.

Ground Control Pro. is a great controller. Go for it.

and you shoulda contacted Terry @ Diezel USA for your Columbus. He woulda made sure you had it no problem.Nothing like GC making a mess of things...

+1

Terry is the best there is. He'll square you away pronto. Meanwhile the GC Pro will work fine, as will just about any other. I use a Tech21 Midi Moose and it functions flawlessly. Plus, it's easy as pie to setup and can be self-powered with a 9v battery (VERY long lasting battery-wise too). Got it from Sweetwater which can of course provide overnight shipping. Just one of many ideas that'll hook you up for the gig.

Order one from Terry now and i'm sure he can arrange for shipping. Cancel the GC order if I were you.

I have a mint condition Columbus for sale in the Classifieds.

PM sent.

This can easily be sorted out. Give me a call and we can get you handled.

Terry, Lisa.
Thank you for your immediate replies and assistance (resolving the GC issue with my Columbus order). I have never had better, prompt, and sincere service with any other manufacturer. You folks are fantastic.

Thank you. We appreciate your kind words and are happy that it is resolved.

I didn't know GC was an authorized Diezel Dealer. I've never seen a Diezel of any kind at a GC (not even a used one).

They are not a dealer, this was a special order that GC made that was messed up to say the least. Good news it is resolved and the customer is taken care of.

they aren't? how come I see diezels at local gcs so often?

This is changing and we have no dealer agreement with GC. In the past they have had our products in some specific locations and done special orders but they have never been too involved in carrying our line.

Better beef up production at Dillingen if you are going to market online through GC.

You misunderstood what I said. We are not going that way.

...thank god!! i feel bad even buying strings from Guitar Center.

GC would have to elevate themselves to a MUCH higher class to become a proper Diezel dealership. I for one am happy that they aren't going to be found in GC's. It would denigrate the good Diezel name ;-)
