Hey all,
I've got this damn buzz on my Einstein and I can't for the life of me figure out what is causing it.
It's most prevalent on the lead channel but is completely unaffected by the gain nob, only the volume nob. It's kind of like an ENNNNNNNN sound, not super high pitched, more upper midrangy, I've tried changing around the pre amp tubes and power tubes, nothing seems to have any effect on it at all. When there is absolutely nothing plugged into the amp, it doesn't make a sound, but even a direct cable from a guitar (known good) it does it, even with the guitar amp volume totally off.
Any ideas on this? Is it a grounding issue or something else I am missing?
