Need year and confirmation of external bias on Herbie

Hi,

I am considering buying an used Herbert from a local guitar shop. I just called them to confirm if the Herbert that they have has the external biasing points and see if they happen to know the year of the amp. They could not answer the questions. The serial number is as follows:

007/760

Any help is greatly appreciated! :yes:
 
My Herbert is #595 or there abouts and it was made in 2006 and is the latest version with external bias and LEDs. I'm guessing the one you are looking at is probably a 2007 with external bias and LEDs.
 
It´s 001/760 and brand new.
We are at 001/875.
 
Huh...that is interesting, because it is being sold as "used". I guess I need to confirm those numbers, they were having trouble making out the numbers when I was on the phone. Pete, do you happen to know if 001/760 was shipped to the United States and delivered somewhere on the South-East region? Not sure if that is possible to know or not? Thanks Peter!
 
I think by "brand new" he meant it was made fairly recently. Still may be a used amp. Check with Uwe at Salwender International (US distributer) - I think he should be able to tell you the dealer that originally sold the amp.

What is the selling price they are asking?
 
thanks everyone! I am waiting for the store to call me back to accept / decline my very reasonable offer that I have made them. Hoping to get a little compensation for driving 10 hours to pick it up :rock:

Sure, it´s used, but from the 2007 production. We have a big problem
with our server and I cannot tell You the history of the amp yet.
But I assume it was delivered to Uwe Salwender.
